Put it in, wire for VTEC, get the OBD2 ECU and OBD2 converter harness, and you're done. (let me know if I missed anything)

The absolute easiest way to put a obd2 96-00 y8 into a obd1 92-95 Civic is to get a 96-01 Integra engine harness and plug that on to the motor and plug it up at the shock towers. Then you have to get a obd1 p28 ecu and run the vtec wires because you have a dx. If you can't get a 96-01 obd2 Integra engine harness easily then switch over your injectors/distributor/alternater from your old dx engine and use your cars engine harness. I have done it both of those ways.
