b18b1 piston rings fit CTR pistons?? anyone??
Rings will fit, however i highly recommend buying new rings. I would never re-use old rings. Pistons will fit on the rods. Just take it to a machine shop so the can shave down the rod for the piston to fit. It needs to be mounted and balanced anyways so might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
Also depending on milage, you may need to do a slight hone on the walls to get a good cross hatch again on the walls. If you have high mileage i recommend boring .25 over and buying the factory .25 oversized CTR pistons along with rings to ensure a good seal.

just machine the inside of the pistons like 1mm on each side so the rod will fit, don't machine the rods cause LS rods are already very weak
Correct me if I'm wrong but CTR pistons go by PCT, not PR3.
Install new rings. Not worth saving a few bucks on a critical internal part.
