Default Another heating problem. Please Help...?

I have a B16A2 swap into my 97 hatch. the car was running fine, but I recently installed a skunk 2 pro series 64mm manifold and a 68mm skunk 2 pro series throttle body on it. The manifold had an extra water outlet that I closed because I colud not find where it goes connected to. but the car started to heat up. so I replaced the thermostat, the temperature sensors (on the block and the thermostat housing), water pump. Any of this changes seemed to stoped it from heating up. The only thing that keeps it from heating is if I turn the tmeperature **** to the heat and keep the radiator fan on with a direct switch. Does any body have a similar problem? OR Does any body know what the problem might be? Thankx for the help.

Im curious as to where that "extra water outlet" leads too. What does your overflow tank look like...any black film?

Have you ran a compression test? Is the fan turning on? Did you burp the system?

I closed the extra water outlet so i does not goes any where. the fun and relay work good and I burp the system many times. Yestarday It got a leak down test and the only problem was on cylinder 3 it was leaking 25 to the exaust. On Monday its going to have a valve ajustment since the head was put back i haven't done it. The water doesn't have black film. Thankx

What is your compression across the board? Im starting to think you have a crack in the HG.

I had a small crack on mine and it would overheat if I didnt set the climate control to hot and have the fan blowing hot air on my *** in the midst of summer.

the leak down showed 12%,14%,25%13% on cylinders 1,2,3,4. I do not have to turn the heater fan on to keep it cool. I just have to have the control on the heat position. I have the rad. fan directly with a switch but i don't need to turn it on. when i change the control to cold porition and turn the fan on it still overheats.
