Default ZC in a crx question

did a search, no results, me and a friend are plannin to do a zc in his 89crx HF, i need to find a site that shows ALL steps on how to do this swap, since we've never done it(wiring, ecu, axles, tranny..etc.) any positive info would be appreciated, please do not tell me to do a b series swap, thanx! ...also what tranny would be best, we plan on boosting it in the future, ZC or SI trans?

i wana do the same thing since i cant afford a b series motor . but i think as far as the wiring goes, you have to get a new harness, i think. i know for sure if you get a dohc zc. but i dont know if you have to switch the harness for a sohc. sorry man thats my .02 cents! wish i knew more!

i don't know all the changes needed for a hf wiring harness, but it were a si harness, the only change would be for the cylinder position sensor, which is located on the exhaust cam.

i think that hasport.com may have some of the wiring changes you need to do - if the hf/dx share the same wiring, then you can check the dx wiring for a b-series drop, then take care of the cps wiring.

what we plan on doing is ordering the setup from nippon-motor for 950, motor, trans, ecu, etc. im not sure what ecu u get with that though, and if its plug and play? Sorry, im new to all this ecu wiring junk.
