Default turbo prelude, advice needed

Please dont not flame. Ok so i have a 00 lude. and ive saved up some money for some wheels, but Im leaning more for a trubo. My buget is $1600 ish. I have all ready have skunk2 IM and My stock TB that got bored by maxbore. And full exhaust (2.5"), Some kind of fuel pump behind my gas tank (bought car with it). So what kind of turbo would you guyz recommend for me? I have stock internals ... Im looking for about 210-240 WHP, Im pretty sure its posible with stock internals. I just need my motor to be safe for a min of 1 year. I was thinking about ebay kits but i heard alot of bad input about them in this fourm. so.... What all do i need and were can i get it? I will be switching over to Obd1 and probley get tuned on neptune or something. Thanx on any input.

1600 wont get you very far for a reliable setup.
cheap, fast, and reliable- you can only have 2

keep saving.

1600 wont get you much at all. Save your money and create a reliable setup

Then you need to account for the cost of tuning and installation if u arent mech savy or tuning your own vehicle.

Im sure i might be missing something that i overlooked please feel free FILL IN THE BLANKS and see the total IF ITS $1600 or under u are buying ebay crap parts/no name equipment that are prone to failure(post results please)

I think that's a little exaggerated. Here's how I'd break it down

turbo - $300 for a Garrett T3
intercooler - $150, or get a junkyard SMIC from a Saab or something
piping - $100ish
downpipe and dumptube - get local quotes
EMS - Hondata S200 for whatever they go for
ECU - P72 or P28, already chipped from phearable.net
Fuel pump - see what you've got already, might be usable
BOV - whatever's cheap
Wastegate - Tial knockoff
Manifold - whatever you can find, cast will probably be cheaper and work fine
Gauges - look around
Injectors - $100 for some DSM 450's
