My first time at the track! :)
This was my very first time ever running on a drag strip so please dont dog on my time 2 bad, but this is my best time of the night. I think if i had slicks and more practice i could get my 60' time down to 2.2 and ill have a better 1/4 time. What do yall think?
Its a 94 GSR with a AEM CAI and 15" Rota C8's. And it weigh's 2540 without me in it.
R/T --- 1.17
60 --- 2.6
330 --- 6.801
1/8 --- 10.199
MPH --- 72.3
1000 --- 13.108
1/4 --- 15.564
MPH --- 91.47

about 3,000 and dropped it, kinda nervous out their for it being my first time and not used 2 it. I am riding on michelins (not 2 sure what type) on my rota c8's and every calls them "super swamper" cuz it has so much grip..
Good time for your first run. You'll learn to relax on the launches. All that matters if the tree and your feet on the pedals. That's it. Good job though.
It's all in the 60ft time. I still need work on mine. Still rather impressive you ran mid 15s with 2.6 60ft.
Looks like you got a strong engine.

My first time I race at the Alamo Dragway.. I used to have AEM CAI, GReddy EVO, Centerforce clutch, and Fuel pressure regulator.. I ran 16.9.... HAHAH man I was so embarrasse and people look at me think of me idiot.. WEll right now I have Greddy Turbo Kit with Greddy IC... I crank up to 9 pound and I ran 13.9.. Boy what a different between Turbo and Aftermarket bolt on... ANyway keep it up
i dont think it takes "one hell of a driver" all i need 2 do 2 get for sure 2.2 0-60 is go back with slicks. I never been 2 a drag stip in my life, never knew what 2 launch at, or when 2 leave, so i think i did pretty good for just about a fully stock GSR and im running a 15.5 with a 2.6 0-60 for my very first time at a track, and thank u other guys for your support...
It doesnt take any slicks to get a 2.2 60.
Just the right tire presure and launch can do but it may take pratices.
And looking at ur miles, it does support a high 14 low 15.

2.2 60 ft times arent impossible, i have nitto 450s and have gotten 2.2 consistently, i also have gotten a 2.1 60 ft time three times, i take my tire psi level down to about 25 and launch at 4500 and drop the clutch , but then i feather the gas pedal till i think the tires have gripped the road and then floor it again.
i have gotten 14.9 three times. all i have is a generic short ram intake and generic cat back exhaust! once i get aheader i think i'll get more top end and will hit 14.7s maybe!
just my two cents!

Thats actually pretty good, considering you had a horrible 60ft. You don't need slicks to get 2.2 60ft times. I've consistently gotten 2.3 with 14x5.5" wheels with shitty tires that had absolutely not grip. You just need to drop your tire pressure and PRACTICE

its good for your first time, your car must be strong to run that time with a 2.6 60 foot, I'm not sure if you did this or not, but drop the tire pressure down to about 20psi and launch at around 3500 but feather it, keeping it from spinning too much or bogging out. you should be able to get your 60 foots down to 2.3 or 2.4 wich will help you a lot. keep practicing
