Default transmission issues at high RPMs?

so i asked this in the tech forum, but i never get answers in that forum... figured this is a better forum to ask in...

i have had the same tranny for a while. been on a couple motors and shifted like BUTTER... even my friends have commented on it. but recently with my new setup/motor it presented an issue...

oh and before its said/asked it has had Genuine Honda MTF in it the whole time i have owned it.

on both my other motors it was shifted at ~8200rpms. when i was at the track (drag) i was shifting it at 9200-9500rpms and you could feel it...grind? kinda dont want to use that word. i have had trannies "grind" and this wasnt quite that. it had NO resistance what so ever and they where solid, non-WOT/'power shifts"...

so is this common on a Honda tranny at this RPM? its gonna **** my tranny huh? or is it maybe another issue?

oh its an S80 B-series transmission
