clutchless shifting...racing
aight i know how the tranny works, the stuff u can do and the stuff u dont want to try, etc. everything. anyway, wat bugs me out is what i saw today. my friend was racing someone without using the clutch. i can drive without using the clutch but i have to wait for the rpms to drop to get it into the next gear. it seems like this guy was powershifting. i never tried it, and i do have a spare tranny to mess around with but i dont wanna mess up the one i have now.
anyway getting to the point, is there any special way of doing it, or do i slam it into the next gear?? if i let the rpms drop, i know it would go in, but that defeats the purpose of doing it. anybody haves any inputs. and please, i dont want any stupid comments, i tried searching but i didn't get anywhere.

From personal experience I would say a stronger clutch is much better than powershifting. Powershifting has only saved me 2 to 3 tenths of a second in the 1/4 mile till i busted the tranny. For me it's worthless, maybe I was doing it wrong but I would never do it again.
