try these:
-pull spark plug, put plug back in boot and have a friend crank while you hold it about 1/8" away from the valve cover... see a spark? if no check the rotor and or ignitor
-put that part the way it was... next turn on key and listen for the click of the mainrelay down by the hood pop followed by the whirr of the fuel pump, if no.. resolder/replace the main relay...
-next tug the timing belt cover and make sure that mug didn't snap

hth,
K.

could be alot of things. try starting it with one crank. by this i mean let it turn over once. and then try it again. keep trying it. and then try starting it with multiple cranks. make sure you dont flood your engine. did you feel any lag when you drive this car?

i would say try your main relay. located under the dash. it controls spark and fuel in your car. give it a shot. either that or a bad ecu. or a bad ground....check your thermostat ground and your starter ground....

Yeah!

Is it really hot outside? The old kind of Main Relay would fail under extreme heat and your car wouldn't start. Mine did this. I got a new one and they are made better now and I no longer have this problem.

The symptom is that the car will crank and everything will seem fine but it just won't start. The Main Relay sends the signal to the fuel pump and injectors to turn on.

When you turn the key can you hear the fuel pump come on? If not than it is probably this.

It's $41 at the dealer.
