i traded for a p28???
i have a 94 hatch with a d15b with the stock p06 ecu i was told it would not hit vtec with that i traded for a stock p28 out of a 93 del sol it had a d16z6 but he said the 93 delsols dont hit vtec but it had a vtec selinoid what is the deal on this?? i put it in and i think it hits vtec but im not sure it is still a d series so you prob cant here it.. let me know thanks

to the OP, it's a sohc 1.6l. dont expect to feel vtec.

if you had a 92 eg it would be plug and play because all 92's are prewired for vtec but you have a 94 so unless it is an Si shell you'll also have to run vtec wires to the ecu for it to work. Do you have a check engine light on?
if it is a vx then I would do a search on vx motor swaps. they require additional wiring that a cx/dx/si doesn't, because the vx had a vtec-e engine which is not anything like a real vtec engine
