Default I have a VTEC question.

What RPM does VTEC engage on a d16z6? I got a chipped ECU and the chip makes it engage at 5300 or the other chip 5500 (mugen). SO im not sure if this chip is really gonna benefit me. Any replies would help.

On a stock P28 program, VTEC x-over is 4800 RPM.

I love people who answer and have NO CLUE!!!!!!!!!!

OK, the stock Z6 VTEC switchover point is 4800-5200 rpm depending on map and tps inputs.

If you are looking at a stock tach, add 300-500 rpm to the above numbers.
