No personal experience with superchargers, but I've read a bit about each as I'm looking into a Greddy turbo kit for my D15B VTEC, and had previously read a bit on a JRSC. Especially for the SOHC's, turbo is easily going to yield more power out of the box, but the supercharger provides a more even powerband from the bottom up.

If you're into auto-x and really need the reaction and low-end, a supercharger may be good for you, but the power, and potential of the Jackson setup is not super. The mantra with the SOHC is to go turbo, so you don't sacrifice power to get power. You can read more about this in the Forced Induction section, as all I really know are generalities.
