Default Just installed JDM DC 4-1+carsound cat.....

and now my exhuast is rattling, i noticed that my muffler is about 1/4 inch out further than before. I had to push out on my catback to get the cat between the header and the be pipe. It only rattles at idle and rpms. Im assuming the catback is rubbing against the metal parts of underneath the car, what can i do? get underneath and jiggle around and try to get them to seat in the rubber hanger? or take it to a shop and have them look at it?
JDM 4-1, carsound cat, Apexi N1

TIA

maybe the flanges on the cat were a little to long. I would go to a muffler shop and see if they can't get the cat back to factory specs

it seemed to fit pretty well, didnt seem too long... i just had to put enough pressure on the bpipe to get the cat over the donut gasket, and once it was over that it seemed to fit like stock...

Check to see where the exhaust is rubbing on the heat shields.

Take it to a muffler shop, they should know what to look for and how to fix it. I had to do this to my Honda JDM 4 to 1 header. And if they do fix it; and later on another noise comes from the exuast, all you have to do is bring it back and they'll fix it for free. It'll save you alot of headaches later on.

With this setup did you notice a difference in power? Because I am going to get the same exact setup.

Couldn't you take both cats to the muffler shop and have them measure the length of the stock cat so they can make the carsound cat the same length?
