i have a 96 ek. i'm going to get type R door panels with power windows and all that stuff. only problem is the door panel is black and red. but my dash in my ek is light grey. does anyone know where i can get a black dash for my car? help!

 

From a Civic in Europe. Otherwise you will need to dye the dash.

there is a post somewhere where a guy who is onhere lives in europe and gave the part numbers for all the parts for the LHD black interior ill see if I can find it. Only thing if i do is your going to have to find somebody in europe to order the parts for you than ship the over here to you lol. So you are better off just dying the interior pieces black. Look in the archives its in there somewhere im to lazy to go looking for two different threads.

it comes out fine

its what i used in my old crx and it looks fine, just take acetone and put it on the dash 1st to get rid of any grease and junk, prep is everything bro


EDIT: dont just dump it on there either, use a rag, or something

 

I have used the spray on stuff before. I was really impressed by the finish it gave, not to mention how well it held up (I also painted a computer mouse and it looks great after daily use for 2 years, normal paint does not hold up). Just do a small test bit to make sure the color is what you want (but black is easy). if you really want to do a killer job, take the dash out of the car and spray it.

make it a weekend thing tho, that **** takes a while to dry
