i am throwing code 1 that is the o2 sensor my question is do i need a new one this only happens some time and after long periods of idling then i can shut the car off and start it again. then the code will be off. after about 5 to 30 miles it will come back on and this started happing today. It used to happen 5 months ago but then my car spun a rod bearing now after 3000 miles it is acting up again. so should i just go out and get a new o2 sensor or what?
