i recently swapped in my 98 spec jdm ITR motor and used a JDM ITR engine harness in my EG6

i got a CEL for code 22, VTEC Oil Pressure Switch defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch
* invalid code for non-VTEC engine

it's plugged in for sure, so i thought it might be defective, so i swapped it with another one

i start the car and the code is still on

i know the vtec solenoid i replaced with is good for sure, so is there a speical way to get rid of the code? i already unplugged battery for a couple mins

problem solved, just had to tap wires A4 and D6 together, thanks rywire
