thats why i was asking. i know the edelbrock IM's are very high rpm oriented and since i didnt want to take it too high, i was wondering if anyone was making good numbers with the skunk2. i emailed peakboost and they recommended the skunk2 IM.

Your 600hp goal with an 8200rpm redline is not realistic. It can be done, but you'll end up with a crappy powerband and a lot slower car than something reving to 9500-10000.
tony is right.. why would you want to limit the power range on the car?.. why dont you want to take the car past 8200?.. the victor x manifold will help carry the power band also compared to a skunk2 manifold..

what about the performer x? right now i still have a stock head so i dont want to rev too high. it will get new valvetrain in a few months and then ill raise up the rev's. this is my daily as well and will be driven 75% of the time at 350whp
if your planning on upgrading the valvetrain later...dont limit yourself with a manifold now that your just going to have to upgrade again laster.
FWIW i have never seen a JG manifold do anything other than improve performance everywhere in the powerband on a turbo car.
my car picked up something crazy like 75whp over a b16 manifold a few years back.

i didnt want to try and make 600 on the stock head. i just wanted to know if the skunk2 pro series was capapble of being efficient in that range. i guess its not and ill be getting a victor x now.
