ok, when the car is off it does not do this!

whenever i let up on the clutch, in nuetral or in gear, it drives perfectly fine but its rubbing/grinding and it didnt always do that...its been getting worse and i want to fix this problem before something may happen....

any suggestions? any help is appreciated

 

Manual or automatic ? Does the noise come or go away when you step on the peddle. Might be time for a new clutch.

You do know automatic transmissions have multiply clutch disc inside them right

After re-reading it, I see he was talking about a manual.

 

how many miles? are you a clutch rider? does the noise stop when you release the clutch? could be the throw out bearing

 

oook, it's a 97' integra ls with 123,000 miles on it...when pressing down there is no noise but when releasin up from ground 1/4 inch it's a weak click and when the clutch cathes around halfway up, it does the same thing weaker and for a little bit longer

 

and it's a stock clutch too
