4-2-1 is more suitable for street drive. 4-1 makes all its power up high.

Neither does much on a SOHC or DOHC tho. Just in case you're thinking of buying one. I did, and it's a big waste, besides the temporary (hella expensive0 bling factor until my pieced together turbo kit is installed.

get a $65 ebay one then. It really does do give you performance gains, just not enough to warrant spending the $$ it costs. I know multiple people that have the egay header and it looks nice and works fine, no cracks/leaks. That's probably one of the few things I'd suggest people buy from ebay

You are in So Cal, hit up the So Cal marketplace for a used stock one. I would much rather spend 30-60 then to use the cracked one as an excuse to spend 300+ ya know?

I run a Ebay 2.5 outlet 4-2-1 Header on GSR until I boost it. 4-2-1 two piece and also comes with gaskets. Not a bad deal for 65 dollars.

Unless you've had personal experience with the ebay headers, I wouldn't speak up. They've been proven to be quite reliable.

Get a megan header. And modify the collector to a 2.5" pipe. You'll have a bangin' DIY header.

Are you serious. Maybe on a stock motor it might not make a huge change, but it will help your power. If you start to build the motor a 4-2-1 or 4-1 are going to be the best header style you can go with. That why all custom headers are 4-2-1 or 4-1 design. On d-series it wont matter what you do short of a turbo set up. On a b series though your results will be alot diffrent.
