just saw that defi came out with a bf tachometer with shift light, comes in amber too. anybody have one yet? i want some feedback concerning the size, it's only 80mm so i'm afraid it might be too small to read easily

Negative. Taking a new direction that involves a front mount

just a guess....maybe the defi tach will be more accurate than the notoriously inaccurate stock unit.
either way, this would be great for somebody who doesn't have a tach... like me... but that's talkin' about the race kaa

at current exchange rates, it would cost me 275 dollars to import from japan ( im in the Philippines). the side buttons are removable, they come with a long harness so you can mount it elsewhere
just FYI it will take alittle getting used to seeing that your stock tac and the defi one will be a few hundred RPMs off(500ish)... the defi will be correct. i have the heads up in my car and my limiter is 8700 the stock tac will say 9200ish and my defi will read the correct revs
