I'm going to purchase an ecu which its a p72 obd2 for my gsr yes i know stock. well heres the problem. I cant afford to drop in the gsr engine which was stolen about a month ago when my car was stripped, now im going to swap a b20b for now and later do a vtec swap on it. will my engine run ok. with an ecu that has vtec and crank. on a engine that doesnt? I'm farely new to this since I just had a gs-r and didnt know much. Any help I will appriciate. I know i can just go and get the ls ecu but im wondering if its possible. and if it is can i just bypass somethings reasons for smogging. my car is pass due for 3 months now and ive tested it twice and it fail that was when i had the b18c1. any help.
