Default Need Help with GSR to EM1 swap

There are unfortunately a laundry list of problems that need to be sorted out but i need a temporary fix.

I have a em1 with a 97 gsr engine. I just finished the swap and was running the gsr p72 ecu. Well I had my car parked at work and when I went to get in it at the end of the day it had been broken into and my ecu, jumper harness, fog lamps, and front lip were stolen. Along with a handful of tools that the thieves prolly used to jack my parts. Long story short I got the money from my insurance and the check was enough to pay for all of the parts plus a little extra. I decided to spring for S300 in a obd1 p28 because I have plans for boost asap... Anyways I need to pass inspection and i have the old obd2 p2t ecu from the si and i need to pass inspection before my new ecu and conversion harness get arrive.

What I need to know is if there is anyway I can wire the obd2 p2t to work with the gsr engine. The car runs but obviously second stage doesnt work. The check engine light is on and Aside from having to keep the car under 6500 rpm or so it runs fine.

hmm the only thing i can think of is find a place that can chip it and burn a gsr map.
well why is it throwing vtec codes?
to my knowledge secondarys wont throw a code.

or call some buddys and see if someone has a gsr ecu you can borrow for a day.

actually there is a 96-97 p28 obd2 used in the delsol w/ d16y8, I guess honda felt like the delsol needed a different map than the p2p.

Cause it has an immobilizer. If you take out the immobilizer chip, you'll get a CEL. Which defeats the purpose of passing inspection. He can use an OBD2A GSR ecu with a jumper harness and pass inspection.

I know that would work , and that is the setup I had before my ecu got jacked from my car. Damn thieves!! But here I am with an si ecu attached to a gsr engine.....and no inspection

That's great. You know what JDM ECU's also DON'T have? The correct software to be read by an state inspector's computer through the OBD data port. So how does that solve the OP's problem?

OP:

If you really want to run a 99-01 P72, PM user Katman. I'm not sure if he still does it, but he used to offer a service to remove the immobilizer without a CEL.

Removing the immobilizer is easy, but will cause a CEL. He has a chip that he replaces it with so that you can run a 99-01 gsr ECU with no immobilizer and no CEL.

immombilizers started in 2000 with integras. The problem is 99 integras are obd2a while the 99 and 00 civics are obd2b. There isnt a change between the two, just a few wires in a different location. Katman can point you in the right direction.
