Default To everyone who has JDM engine in their 96+ car

Hey, guys, my question is really simple.I live in Georgia and I own a 98 civic hatchback. I want to swap B18 GSR engine into my civic. The problem is I dont know if it will pass emission? I used to own 91 MR2 turbo, I need to pay to pass emission every year and I dont want to do that anymore... I searched but I dont get much infor. Some people say it will and some people say it wont... If you know any thing about emission, please help me thanks.

the only way to do it completly legal is to find a 98 or NEWER engine..
Then you need to run the proper ecu to go with the engine
Keep a Cat installed and make sure theres no cel lights

i would think that if you have all your sensors and the proper computer it should be fine. or if not maybe a good tune or something. just my thoughts i live in florida and we don't have to deal with that stuff. good luck.
