just recently i been hearing a popping noise when i slightly or fully turn the wheel, driving off after a turn it would pop. not always but most times it would. it sounds like those toyota trucks when you fully turn the wheel, that metal to metal noise. about two months ago i just upgraded to koni yellow with g.c. coilover and got the car alligned. took the power steering off a long time ago. also the axles look fine, no rips and rattles, and yes the coilovers are fully seated on the strut and pillow mount. what can this noise be?

 

How do your ball joints look? I had a popping coming from my driver side for awhile. Then yesterday my lower ball joint broke.

 

i had a bad wheel bearing and lower ball joint on the hub before the koni upgrade, i replaced them both before the allignment. could it have anything to do with the steering? having taken p.s. out?

 

thats crazy! im running koni yellows w/ G.C adjustables also. ive had no power steering for over a year now and i have some weird *** clanking and popping noises up front to?!?!?
