winter is perfect for turbo all that cold air unless you guys mean like freezing temps and tons of snow here in nc it gets cold but not to the point it messes up your car my turbo hatch loved that cold air
yes talking about freezing temps, driving with 3 or more inches of snow on the road, and best of all tons of salt. Get a winter beater and save the cars. This is where rust starts once it does it can't be fixed.

The fuel usually gets ethanol in the winter at most stations and that can mess with a tune and need to be retuned.
Turbo should be fine itself in the winter and the cooler denser air should produce more power.

Ya i would be gettin a winter car but im actually in the process of buying this one right now...so not much $$ ya kno. I wish i could but then i gotta buy a car and pay for more insurance. I live in chicago...so we usally only get a couple bad snowstorms in the winter. But it gets colddd. I think prolly about high teens and 20's are the avg but im not sure. I was just seein if the car would be as reliable in the winter. I kno its got a good tune buy a very good tuner so i think it should be fine....
It's pointless to drive a high performance car during the winter. Unless it's an sti or evo, then you can at least go. If you don't have that much money why would you waste more by destroying your car. Salt will eat away at everything under your car making future mods more difficult also eating away at your paint. there are cars that you can drive that will make it the 4 months that there are snow on the ground and they don't cost more than 500$ cheaper if you don't care at all. They don't look pretty but they are worth it. I purchased my teg from the south, it's a 96 and it is clean as hell whenever it goes on a lift. No problem with any bolts. It's worth it.
Ya like i said...i dont really have all the $$$. Im a full time college student and a part time worker now. So payin my parents back i priority one. I just need something that will last me. It wont be driven everyday...just wenever i need it. Just wanted some tips for reliability during the winter...
