Simple question looking for a quick answer...
I searched a couple of sites for an answer and I KNOW that the JDM D15B VTEC motor was MADE for the 92-95 Civic (at least my OBD-1 engine was). I just bought a 92 Civic 4 Door (not sure what model yet). I am junking my CRX because the body's completely rusted out and it has a D15B VTEC in it. What I want to know is which mounts do I have to use in order to use my D15B VTEC in my 92 4door? I know it's drop and plug it in with the P28 ECU but are the plugs for my VTEC pressure switch and sensor in the harness already or do I have to add them? I just figured that someone could tell me real quick. Thanks!!!
I should have figured that...lol One more simple question...what clusters can I put in the dash without modifying them? Or should I say with little modification? Can I put a 90-93 Integra cluster in this car?

I think you have to modify the 90-93 - but you should be able to put '94-'01 'teg in there w/o problems.
Though it's not 100% fit - you have to use pipe straps to center it - and even then it comes out not 100% fit in the bezel:

not completely true
88-91 have slightly different mounts, IE the front bulkhead mount on the front of the motor do not exist on any d-series motors after those years. in addition they will not have the locations for the torque mounts like the 96-2k have.
you can get it into the engine bay but you will have to make do with what you can connect. not to mention the harnesses between the 88-91 (crx falls in these years) and the 92-95 civics are different.
You can make it happen but its going to take some serious leg work on your part. just warning you.

Yes, but for out intents and purposes 92-00 d-series motors are completely interchangeable with the exception of the dohc zc.
Besides, why would anyone put ANY obd0 motor in their 5th gen?

By far the easiest cluster to install would be a '92-'95 Si/EX unit. No mods at all and I bought mine for $125. Make sure you specify manual trans when you buy.

No doubt. I can imagine the mounts would be a little different. I can actually reuse the ones that are currently on the car. Basically as you can tell from my sig that my current car is a 89 CRX. Now this motor is going into my 92 4 Door. Everyone says that the only modification I have to do to the harness to get it to work is add my wires for VTEC. I'm going to be using a P28 ECU with this engine so I'll just search for the pinouts for it and go from there. I have experience with wiring...lol Having to convert an OBD0 car to OBD1 was fun but then again Xenocron really helped me out with that... I want to swap an Integra cluster into it because I don't think it comes with a tach and I don't want an external tach. I appreciate the help guys!

yeah youll have to swap the cluster because everything past 89 used a speed sensor in the tranny instead of a cable, and if you dont have a vss on the 92+ ecu youll get a CEL.
just to verify the motor that you are putting into the 92-95 civic is infact an 89-91 motor right?
if that is correct youll have to repin alot more than just vtec wiring.
