Default 99 SI dies out!!!

What's going down civic owners? I own a integra but my homie is the one that needs the help. His car keeps dying on him. We checked every basic problem that you come across when dealing with electrical systems. Checked the battery, cap, and alternator. All good. No bad grounds or dead battery or anything. Finally we found out that the alternator speed fuse keeps blowing out. How come? I tell him that it's drawing to much power. He said I don't know what im talking about. Then he tells me that he has a gsr alternator on it. Then I said, that could be it, cause I sure cant think of any other reason. Can you please help a half brotha out.

the gsr alternator would not be a problem. but it might be going bad or the connection wires for it are exposed somewhere and grounding out possibly.

Come on civic owners. I know someone out there has came across this problem. Even though my homie has a 96 EX/h-22, a 92 EG hatch for sale, a project 89 CRX/gsr almost done, his baby is the 99 Si. I just want to help him out cause he all ways hooked me up with parts I needed for my integra. Since I'm not really sure about the ansewer I had gave him with the gsr alternator in a Si that's killing his car, I figured who else could help this jackass with his car but other civic owners. Help him out just like my fellow integra owners did for me. Thank you.

Okay, I re-tested the alternator and checked all the ground wires. Still, the same results. It turns out, that it wont say on for a day, and then have to charge it the next. That was my mistake. What it will do is, when you turn the ignition key to the on position it blows the alternator speed fuse. What is the problem now? I think his Si is a pile of dump, with lambo doors but he is a homie. Please help this chump out. I'm glad I own a integra
