thanks. Do i need to replace that dust seal? how much should it be? what do i call it?? just dust seal on tie rod #10??

I looked at mnes the boot (10) and it ripped. Is this bad or ...

Yes you need to replace it. If your outer tie rods are old, might as well replace those, too. You'll need an alignment after doing so.

Just a warning, it's a PITA trying to get the clamps on around the new boot.

Also, I recommend the OEM boot and clamps. The OEM clamps are easier to get on (other than the difficulty getting your hands in there to get it on) and they clamp/crimp tight with no special tools required due to their design.
