just a quick question on a some what stupid topic, i read a thread the other day about a guy who wanted to race another guy but only if he disconnected his vtec, now my question is this, how do you go about disconnecting the vtec (please do not take this in anyway as my desire to do so) this is on a prelude by the way, i was just wondering how one would go about doing such a thing. thanks for any input

 

disconnect the VTEC solenoid.

 

then don't bother to race him.

unplug oil pressure switch plug
unplug VTEC solenoid plug
take off the oil switch ground
take off the oil VTEC solenoid ground

 

unplug speed gauge wire from tranny....no vtec...no miles...
