A few days ago I got a 1259 CEL and the car was in limp mode and wouldnt rev past 5.5k I just thought it was low on oil so I put some in and then I was able to rev past 5.5k and it sounded like VTEC was engaging. Now I was looking around for solutions for this code but the car is full of oil. The only other options is the solonoid or the oil pressure switch. Now im assuming that if I can enter vtec then my solonoid would be fine but im not sure maybe someone has suggestions?
