muffler size

Default muffler size

i have a stock y7 motor and i want a new muffler im going wit the vibrant flat black.... should i get 2.25 or 2.5 and whats the difference besides the size.... i was thinking of getting the 2.5

I believe its just the diameter of the inlet/outlet. If its stock I would just stick with the 2.25 unless you are planning on a motor swap sometime soon.

get a 2.25 if u don't want it too loud? 2.5 is louder.. And yeah, what's wrong w/ stock?

You do realize your motor is going to loose low end (possibly top end too) power due to not enough back pressure. The air flow is perfect for that motor, i highly doubt honda put so much money and R&D just to make a shitty system. Swap the motor or boost the motor before you need to change the exhaust. Im just trying to save you some money.

Stock ftw. Keep what little torque you have and save your $150

Or save the cash your goin to spend and put it toward a swap. Even a z6 or y8 would be better than what you have now. You could do a mini me swap for a couple hundred bucks if your smart about it.
