i have 92 si with the jdm h22 in it. after the motor swap the car does not run right, the car didnt run with the old motor in it b/c the previous owner blew it up. but anyways here are the probs. when you start it up and push on the gas it drops in rpm's and hesitates like a mother, you push on the gash and about a second later it finally will jump the rpms up. it wont idle for the life of it, it has to be idling at about 50 b/c the idle rpm needle is on zero! also while ddriving the car has no power, throught the rpm range it will kinda give some power then it will bog down and keep on doing that, and it does not happen at the same rpm ranges all the time. i'm throwing a check engine light for the vss andwas throwing a engine like for the knock sensor but all the suddan that fixed itself and i'm not throwing that anymore. so i'm wondering what is causing these probs and how to fix them

 

Well knock sensor could definatly give it the feel of having no power. As far as ur other problems I would doubly check to make sure ur not getting ANY cel's anymore. Next, check ALL ur grounds to make sure they're tightened down. Also, check ur spark plugs, and see what they look like. I know when I first did my h22 swap the ignition coil went out within 2 days and was bogging bad. Did u have to replace the tps sensor on ur swap? Usually the tps is broken when gettin the engine. Also what yer/obd is ur engine?

 

i just changed the spark plugs i put the ngk ones in, i think i might have a prob with the coil though. and idk about the tps sensor i know the one was broke from the motor but and i just cant remember if i put a new one on, i'm, sure i did. not sure on the year of the eingine but its obd1
