y8 intake manifold question
so i hear all these eg guys gt these d16y8 intake manifolds and put them on their cars, but, it has no IACV and the fuel rail from a z6 doesnt fit on it so how do they do it? help me please/

You use a Y8 rail/injectors and it needs to be an automatic Y8 for correct IACV placement - not a manual. If it's a manual you gotta block off the holes in the rear of the IACV it and use a diff butterfly/rotor - the Y7 butterfly/rotor/spring will work.
EDIT:
Also, the fuel return line coming from the FPR is on the far side of a Z6, it's on the middle - towards the incoming fuel line on a Y8 - you'll have to get another hose to extend that fuel return line or it won't reach.
I know with the older cummins diesels you can just pinch off the return line and build up more back pressure in the fuel system to solve this problem, but ECU's changed all that...and it's gasoline, not diesel

^ um no, what are you talking about? actually he needs one from a 5spd y8 the iacv is the same as a z6. the automatic one will not work because they have the iacv on the throttle body and no space for it on the intake.....
