Why don't you just get a D16Z6 manifold?

You use a Y8 rail/injectors and it needs to be an automatic Y8 for correct IACV placement - not a manual. If it's a manual you gotta block off the holes in the rear of the IACV it and use a diff butterfly/rotor - the Y7 butterfly/rotor/spring will work.

EDIT:
Also, the fuel return line coming from the FPR is on the far side of a Z6, it's on the middle - towards the incoming fuel line on a Y8 - you'll have to get another hose to extend that fuel return line or it won't reach.

I know with the older cummins diesels you can just pinch off the return line and build up more back pressure in the fuel system to solve this problem, but ECU's changed all that...and it's gasoline, not diesel .

^ um no, what are you talking about? actually he needs one from a 5spd y8 the iacv is the same as a z6. the automatic one will not work because they have the iacv on the throttle body and no space for it on the intake.....
