Default Short Shifter complaint...

I just wanted to let whoever made it a good idea to make a short shifter for the RSX know that they are probably the most inconsiterate s.o.b. that could possibly be know to man..lol... I say this becasue this weekend while at the beach due to the short shifter, it totally distroyed my shift linkage cable, it broke clear in half from the shifter housing bracket...So i just wanted to let everyone know who might have a short shifter to return it back to stock...

and this is why you don't buy short shifters (besides them being completely useless and a mind set item, doesn't help any performance for anything but ruin synchros and in this case snap shifting cables)

short shifters dont make it hard to get into gear, just make it feel more solid. if that's not for you then don't get one.

i used a twm short shift adapter in my k swapped civic. The angle was off for the cable and I bent the shift cables on the test drive. I've heard the buddy club one works well and rsx and swap cars haven't had a problem.

After my experience with the twm I'm sticking to oem.

The stock shifter is so loose. When I got my revo I was suprised at how nice it tightened things up. Of course you can adjust how the throw feels.

If you complain about a short shifter then if you got an s2000 you would really be in for a suprise. Even at the shortest setting on the revo it doesn't compare to how short the s2000 is.

the b&m short throw shifters are known to bend **** so if that's what you had then it's your fault that you didn't research the product before you bought it
