b16 transmission

What kind of tranny is required to have when putting a b16a into a 88-91 crx/civc?

any b series tranny,,... just match it up to which one you want(hydro or cable)

B series cable tranny is the only tranny you can use, not Hydro....

crap!!!! get a s1... the final drive is a 4.4

i ran one and its geared just right... i think the ys1 also has a 4.4 final drive but the actual gears are a little bigger then the s1's gears i dont actually know... all i know is that my s1 felt a little shorter geared then my freinds ys1

any cable trans will work, try to avoid an LS trans unless you are going turbo. you can run a hydro trans with a little bit of work, making a bracket so that your clutch cable will be doing the work of the slave cylinder that is supposed to be in its place.
