Default 200 WHP B-Series

Wanted to know what it took for some of you to achieve this mark. Post your spec/setup as I will be looking at building an engine in the next couple months. Is this number achieveable with mostly OEM internals?? Is a race header (no AC) necessary? The engine I have in mind is a JDM b18c (GSR) and was hoping to use ITR spec cams... Just looking at options/experiences so no flames please. Thanks in advance.

On our old setup we had was a B18c1 block with CTR pistons, stock crank and rods.Headwork, cams, ported IM and Tbody were done by Gude Performance and we made 205 whp and 140 ft.lbs tqe. Tuned on CROME PRO by Chris Whitfield. Our best time with this setup was 12.50 @ 108 mph in our Eg. Pretty much all O.E. Built.

Those are some good numbers especially with torque.

Yo man,

I think ITR cams and trying to reach 200whp is a bit tough. I'm sorry man! Your going to need more. Tom this will show you how tough it is:

Maybe go FI. ITR cams are one of the best FI cams around!

Or just uprgrade the cam seems like that would be a little cheaper than going turbo.

i plan on building my motor soon, wonder if any of you guys can give some feedback on how my setup should be. This setup will be daily driven and road raced occasionally, and i want to make around the 200whp mark. I think this setup should well pass the 215whp mark.

B18c1
skunk 2 pro 2 cams
skunk 2 pro cam gears
skunk 2 pro valve springs
skunk 2 tit retainers
skunk 2 valves
hot tank hone block
