cd player dash kit

Default cd player dash kit

i just got my del sol yesterday and it didnt have a cd player in it. so i bought the dash mounting kit and that thing is kicking my ***. maybe im stupid? can someone please help

ok first off the dash kit for a del sol is JUST aharness plug thats it.

next to get the Stock radio out you need to take the center con. out there is a plate on the bottom of the stock deck you should have later

once off ther are 4 screws on the front around the plastic trim of the radio (you will needs this) then there are 2 screws One on each side remove then and the whole thig should slide out. unpluge the radio and ther are 2 screws at the back removw them.

Now you should have 3 pices the radio the front plastic trim and the metale shelf from under the radio.

put the self back in and put the screws back in on the sides. then the front plastic trim. now you can install the new radio or center con. it's up to you.eather way do one then the other and your DONE!!

well that sucks, cause when i bought the car it didnt have the stock radio...i bought the installation kit from wal mart but i didnt know you had to have that stuff...could i get the parts from a civic cause junk yards around here dont have del sols

Also the black trim ring is Hard to find well it was around here it was but i have a spare i hit a pole with my 93 and i'm parting it out now so if you want it let me know i payed $25 when i found mine but i'm open to offers.

yea i dont have that plastic ring on mine...i cant buy anything right now cause i have a ticket, cell phone bill, insurance, and getting the title transfered that i have to pay
