First Florida 8 second honda?? could it be?
The SFP Turbo hatch made 748whp @ 30psi...no nitrous. This is in a tin can EG, it should be the first 8 second honda in florida. I think SFP got intimidated by Pacific Performance's car that threw down some 9.1 second quarters.

I don't know a thing about either shop you guys are talking about, but I will say this:
738whp is definately impressive, but unless they can get that car to hook up it will be difficult to bust 8's, right?
Is the car still unibody?

August isn't too far away, can't wait to see that hatch at the track! I'll see if Frank will give me a sneak peak of the hatch when I go back to SFP for the retune of the new block

Sneak peak???? HAHAHAHA.. it's no secret at all. It's parked out front, sometimes with the hood open all the time... and the dyno session wasn't public, but if you were there, you could watch. Just pass by, Frank knows you, so he'll definately give you a "peak" lol....

HP racing has a 722 hp 5th gen hatchback that runs 9.4's i believe. its a turboed (duh) h22. they said that to get into the 8's they'd probably spend $20,000+

Pacific's car ran 9.26 on an untuned engine. I think they will make it first if they stop breaking trannys. They are running at Maple Grove this weekend.

Not easy going from 10s to 9s. Especially 9's to 8's. EVERYTHING has to be running perfect. Horsepower is easy nowadays, i can name so many people out here in the westcoast that have over 700hp, and yet only 2 are running in the 8's.

i believe its a maroon hatch, w/a jamaican flag on top. They have an integra also. If thats them i saw them run in april in gainesville, fl. When i used to live in ft lauderdale sfp had a bad reputation for having stolen engines
