what is the easest and the best way to powe my msd 2 step?

i did read them but wha tim woundering is do i have to have a switch hooked up so i have to turn it on and off casue that seems like a pain in the *** or could i hook it up to my high beems or something

 

bump can i hook to to my high beams some how

 

i have the msd soft touch wired in, permanent, then the 2 step selector is connected to that, it just looks for 12v on 1 single wire to active the 2 step, i ran a switch that i hold in while staging with the 2 step on
