MSD digital window switch
i just hooked up an msd digital window switch and it works but i am having trouble adjusting it. when i press the mode button the light flashes for the on rpm but i cant adjust it same with off rpm and cylinder. its like the up and down buttons dont work. what am i doing wrong? thanks

it can be adjusted by 100 rpms rather than the pills. but it dosnt work and i gotta wait till monday to talk to some one from msd.

PROGRAMMING THE RPM
The rpm activation points and cylinder
select are programmed
through the push buttons on the
LED panel (Figure 1). Press the
Mode button, and notice that the
indicator light above the On RPM
lights. When that point is on, you
can scroll the rpm value up or
down with the arrows on the left
of the panel. Once your On rpm
is set, push the Mode button until
the Off RPM point lights, then set
the Off rpm point. Note that if the rpm point is not changed within 2-seconds, the screen returns to
the current rpm reading (zero when the engine is not running). After setting the On and Off points,
press the Mode button to program the Cylinder Select Valve (default is for 8-cyl.)

yea i got all that in the instructions but the problem is the up and down buttons dont work. when i go to select the rpm i press the buttons and nothing happens. but i can go through the modes.

yea but nothing about the window switch. they also have an extremely slow forum

the little light blinks. right now its on default wich is of course v8 mode. trust me ive tried everything. press and hold, press real fast, hold one and press another. im pretty sure its defective so now i gotta wait even longer to send it back to get fixed
