Alright guys, workin on my build and I really want to use my FAL fan that I was running when I had the half radiator in, and here is my problem:

Heres the problem:











Looks like the radiator hose clamp is going to get close the the fan shroud - anyone ever cut these?

 

yea you can cut the shroud back i little but after you cut it make shure to yake a file and take the edge off because it will cut the hose...just dont go apeshit with the dremal tool... also if you have the room try to slide it over a half inch or so that way your not cutting on the very top of that fan blade just to give yourself some more room..good luck

Awesome thanks for the advice! From what it looks like, I may have to cut all the way through on the top part of the shroud, is that ok to?

 

yea should b
