Help : V-AFC setting for a stock R motor?????

Default Help : V-AFC setting for a stock R motor?????

anyone done this on the Dyno? right now i am using a chipped P28 ECU(OBD1) with a untune V-AFC, anyone have any dyno proven V-AFC setting for the similar set-up? vtec point? where to set it rich or lead? etc????

i gonna tell you as a friend before people get on and start flamming you....every car is different...dont play around w/ that V-AFC..unless you're on a Dyno.

i understand, but i am just looking for a basic setup, not trying to get some crazy power out of the V-AFC or anything, just want some suggestion, thanks for the heads-up anyway

Your basic setup should be to set the unit to 4 cylinders. Have the throttle position for 10% low and 50% high. Keep your stock VTEC setting and dont change anything until you are at the dyno.

actually i think the vafc downloads the stock configuration off the ECU when powering up the first time. this is what i've noticed.

Hook it up, initialize it properly, and watch the pretty lights until you dyno your heap.

I know there is one site that gives basic settings for DSM's with specific turbo apps. to get a ballpark on a s-afc. why none for the vafc?

actually it doesn't it just stores the stock type r settings,

<---gsr owner who forgot to set the vafc once after initializing it

i've used it with a gsr ecu and an itr ecu...
