Default My H series nightmare... Need a little help

Not going to bore you with a long story but just give you the quick breakdown:

Bought a JDm H22a from a pretty well known member on HT ( will not mention names because it is not relevant) After i sent payment i was told that i actually did not buy the motor from him, but actually someone he works with, he was the middle man. Week goes by before i actually get to the person i bought the motor from.

Guys messes around for a month before actually sending it. ( i was a little mad, but he was very nice and i could tell was just plain busy)

Had the motor sent to my brothers shop, the motor arrives on a wooden palate shrink wrapped. So my brother signs for it. After he does the delivery guy then mentions - oh you might want to look at it.

We take the shrink wrap off and low and behold they dropped the freakin motor. Dropped it so hard it broke through the palate and dented the oil pan. Not to mention taking out quite a few parts. Shipping company is battling to pay us because technically he signed before looking - BS if you ask me, but oh well.

So here is where i need help - I need these parts if anyone has any laying around let me know....

What distributor do i use for a jdm motor ?? here are the pics-

This housing is cracked where i am pointing-

Plug Wires are trashed

This is smashed, even the oil filter is dented

Have no idea what this sensor is, but its completely gone

I feel your pain...I am not completely sure if there is anything that will work usdm wise other then the 92-95 JDM obd1 distributor. But the 90-93 Accord cap, coil, igniter and possibly rotor are the same.

That black box u are holding is a vacuum box, it's for the IAB's... Just go to honda and get a brand new one they're pretty cheep, I had to get a new one for my swap.. For ur dizzy just get a cap and rotor and it looks like u should be good to go. I would take the oil pan off to see if the oil pickup line is dented or not.

Did you buy that motor from an "importer" ? That is usually the way all mine have come, a lot of it is when they stack the hell out of those thing in those huge containers and ship them overseas. It comes with the territory, although i have heard lately that some companies will replace some of those parts.

Nope- Bought it from an HT member across the country. The shipping company definitely dropped it...

The exact words from the delivery guy , after my bro signed were: Is this thing going in an old car or somethin?
My bro was like Ah NO ....
Then the guy goes- we all knew this thing was going to be a problem when we loaded it on the truck like that.

The dumb *** even dropped the box in front of my bro that held the ECU and alt.
Yet they still are fighting me to pay for it. Gotta love customer service nowadays

that shipping company sucks

the sensor in the side of the head there is needed, you must find another one.

you probably won't need the IAB box thats broken if you're not using a p72 or a p13 with the thing.

I bet that sensor on the side (ECT aka Coolant temperature sensor for the ECU) is the same as every other honda between 88-94.
