So heres the deal! When I Started my car It idle fine. warmed up normal. but then when I drove it It super bogged out! It wont rev past 4500 rpm and at full throttle it wont even stay there. This is a new b16 swap in my ej coupe. When I put it in I had to calibrate the tps sensor( Wich I didnt do yet eeekk!) so a code 7 was thrown. But when alll the crap happened no code! It aslo smells like its burning rich. Just throwing a guess out, could it be my tps? anyinfo would help out thanx!

 

well if you know that it needs to be calibrated and you haven't done it yet start there, but there are a few things it could be.

 

Just a thought, but i had the exact same problem after i changed my timing belt.. was one tooth off, the car would start and idle fine but wouldn't go worth crap when you hit the gas.. was spewing black smoke too (might not have had much to do with it, as the thing spews black smoke at high rpms anyway) like i said, just a thought
