if you cant do it right the first time, how you gonna find time and money to do it right the second time?

Seriously, go and buy a quality manifold, there wont be any guesswork involved and there shouldnt be with turbo hondas...

We have had a few customers send thier turbochargers back to us with damage to the turbine wheel. It looks like some of the casting from the exhaust manifold had broken off and went through the turbine wheel causing the damage.

You do get what you pay for.

I don't need to upgrade my ******* reading comprehension, but apparently yours could use some work.

He didn't ask you if he should use it or not, he asked if it would fit. That's all. Does it fit, yes or no.

et another example of flames on the net...

you gotta have em on your car, you gotta have em in your fireplace... why not on the net right? haha.

Yeah... The SSAC manifolds are hit and miss. I know personally a handfull of uys with SSAC manifolds that have had no problems with them; granted 2 of them actually inspected and sent their manifolds back for the welds on them, but the replacements are still under the hoods.

If the manifold isn't braced, you are looking for trouble..

if your exhaust is exherting any extra force whatsoever, and keeping your motor from being able to freely move like it should, then yes; it will crack in a heartbeat.

I have heard of and seen SSAC manifolds that literally drop your turbo and DP to the pavement on the freeway with no warning... big shower of sparks and ruined gear afterwords.

I personally bought a $95 shipped to my door mani off of ebay... not even a SSAC manifold. It seems pretty sturdy. I personally am going to be adding another brace from the 5 bolt flange side running to the block where the OEM support bracket goes. Also: A flexpipe will save your **** in the long run too.

Basically put: Lots of bad heard about SSAC.. why? Becuase they literally have no customer support compared to big companies with kits etc. Why? Because when you get a mechanical failure on a greddy product for instance, you get it replaced, and you are happy.

When you by an SSAC mani, and it cracks 2 months later; you get no replacement because why? You paid the cheap price for a product that is only guarenteed for 30 days. And people that knowingly buy them, and get pissy cause it broke... well.... u see my point.

People buy a 30day product and think it should last forever... well; in theory it should, but we all know how the world works!

****... why do I spend $16 at Kragens for a cheap chinese rotor that I know will warp when I really mash on the brakes? Because I can get it replaced for 2 years; free. If I bought a rotor off of ebay, I would make SURE that the rotor was manufactured in the US to better my chances of not getting a bunk part. [remember, I am talkin US vs china/taiwan, not US vs. Japan!]

**EDIT**

Yes it will fit; but depending on your car the downpipe to cat outlet might not line up and would take some exhaust work. nothing major.

Look, another narrowminded dumbfuck from honda-tech that can't tell the difference between a yes or no question and one where an opinion is needed, let alone type out a full ******* sentence.

You said "it should fit" meaning you didn't even really know for sure, and then you gave him your two cents worth; that was not asked for or necessary. Sounds to me like you should have just hit the back button and looked up something like this...

Thanks for playing.

It's a shame that you can't post a question on this forum anymore without getting a load of bullshit that you didn't ask about.

Actually, it took me well under 10 seconds, and I felt that the humor value would be well worth it.

wow...this thread is pretty sweet guys. Its awesome to argue about reading.

I think you guys need to just quit whining about stupid crap and move along. You answered the original question and told him that the manifold sucks....why is this thread still around? Just let it be rather than arguing...
