Car Feels Sluggish - New Brake Setup Sticking Maybe?
I'm in the process of upgrading my brakes all around on my Del Sol S. Currently I have stock 9.5" front discs, swapped third gen. Integra 9.5" rear discs, a 4040 proportioning valve from a non-ABS third gen. Integra, and a 1" master cylinder and accompanying brake booster from a third gen. Integra with ABS.
My issue is basically, it feels like my front brakes, particularly on the passenger side, are dragging slightly. The car feels very sluggish, like driving with the e-brake on or something, and seems to pull to the right badly when I get on or let off of the gas.
Do you think this could be due to the fact that I'm currently using a 4040 proportioning valve when I should be using a 3040 valve for my current setup? I went with the 4040 because very shortly I plan on upgrading to Accord/Type-R/RL/TL/CL calipers on 10.3" front rotors.
Oh, by the way, the brakes didn't get absurdly hot or anything while driving, and there were no odd sounds or smells. And the car rolls on its own on very slight inclines...it's really odd.
