TTT = To The Top.....as for the fuel tank noise, are you sure the tank it's self is tight? Or maybe your fuel pump came loose?

possible, but i took the tank down to see if repositioning it would help and when i did that i disconnected and took out the pump.. i was thinking it might be the anti-vibration pads on top of the tank but they all seem soft still. if it keeps up i suppose ill try a bicycle innertube on top of the tank between the body.

but i will check the pump again.

There is a metal shield between your tank and exhaust pipe...you may not notice it touching expecially when your car is jacked up, but when it's on all fours, it can possibly rub. The catalytic too is another possibility. Is it rattling on idle or only when you're driving?

only when i drive..and it seems to be only in first gear or going around a corner slowly.

i had taken the tank down once and it seemed to fix it but its back.. i think what originally caused the noise was the right rear tire started to get a welt in it and had massive vibrations.. so its possible something inside the tank is loose.

whats it sound like? clunking? squeaking? If you have poly bushings or coilovers that could possibly be it as well... they should really make a USB sound recorder so we can hear these things

i have the same rattling i think as you, like only when its at idle, but once i rev it it goes away, mine is hte muffler rattling, i still havent fixed it though...have someone sit in the car and have the car at idle and hold the muffer with your foot and see if the rattling stops...

its not the muffler.. the noise was there before i had a new cat back put on..
plus, when i had the entire rear out of the car, i was hitting where the tank is and it was rattling.
i originally put some rubber under the straps between the tank..but its not taking up enough slack..

i guess im just going to have to drop the tank again and put up some rubber on top
