basically never kicks in

tested fan and works fine, fuse is fine, new fan switch fitted and tried paperclip in fan switch conncetor but still doesnt kick in

apart from relay (ill have to get this tested but dont think its that) and bad connection is there anything else that could be cause ?

 

help, temps can get very high in at idle and when pushed hard so need the fan working

 

could be the bad Thermostat

Could be, but! If your jumping the fan with the paper clip it should work regardless. Is the key turned all the way to ON? If this is not working check all your wires going to the fan. Maybe there cut and got wet or something. Give her a check.

 

yes key is fully turned, thermostat is fine and heats up completly normal and have water temp gauge so know fan should be on with temps im seeing, fan should kick in much earlier now though as mugen fan switch fitted

i cant see any bad conncetion so guess ill have to get someone with tester to check wiring to find bad connection
