Stumped fan wont work
ok ive swapped out my fan switch with another one and it worked for alil bit then stopped again. so for the mean time I jumped the fan switch so it is on constant now... I let the car get up to temp and over heat alittle and I took the relay out and put it back in the fan comes on .I replaced the relay with another good one and as the car warms up the fan will not work. if I pull the relay and put it back in my fan comes on. I used a voltmeter and checked connectivity going through the fuse box and everything checked out using the OHMS. so there isn't any shorts as I checked it all the way to the fan switch from the fuse box. anyone have any ideas?

Re: Stumped fan wont work
If the Temperature gauge reads normal at Dashboard and the fan not work at all, then it is more likely that the Thermostat sensor has gone bad which is preventing the fan from starting. It can also be possible that the fan fuse has gone wrong. Try replacing the fan fuse.

Re: Stumped fan wont work
ive replaced fuses and swapped relays with another working one... the gauge sensor I just replaced and that's a single wire sensor straight to the gauge the ecu has its own sensor on the side/front of the head to send signal to the ecu. I swapped the relay to the blower and the relay worked fine on the blower.... my only guess would be the fan switch going bad again...
