Default cigarette lighter for gauge power

Has anyone tapped into the cigarette lighter for gauge power? I'm trying it for my air/fuel gauge, but the gauge is flickering all over the place (and not in the way its supposed to... I do know how they are supposed to jump around).

What ecu pin do I splice into for o2 signal? I tapped into.... I think it was D14

I thought you had to get a wideband O2 sensor for those things to work

go straight to the fusebox and tap off there.

FYI the A/F gauge is a voltmeter. Turning on the lights lowers the available voltage and effects ALL electrical based gauges.
